Essajees Atelier use just the right blend of art, beauty, intricacy and functionality to create a sophisticated home that posed as a lesson in spatial planning.
This was a tiny 750 sq.ft. bedroom, hall kitchen apartment that took a lot of space planning and thought to complete it. Designers at Essajees Atelier along with their lead Sarah Sham, approached it as a lesson in space planning, budget control and maximizing what can be done in a small area.
They tried every trick in the book to make the spaces bigger and more functional while cramming in storage at every junction. The result is a minimal, sophisticated yet functional looking home.
The client loved the color blue hence a conscious effort has been made to use blue as a theme wherever possible in the project while using warm tones to balance this out. A series of careful spatial planning techniques were carried out to make the rooms seem bigger than they actually area.
A high end kitchen with all modern day facilities and built in appliances was fit into a small space with a predominant black and white theme. Overall the kitchen has a sharp, stylish and modern feel to it.
