Venus Communiti by Tangram
Located in an upcoming commercial area within the urban city of Bangalore, Venus Communiti is a mixed-use establishment that consists of coworking & coliving typography in the same premises.
Venus Communiti is located in the busy & upcoming neighbourhoods of Kalyan Nagar. It was very important for the designers that the entrance is high impact and stands out from the neighbouring buildings. The ground floor of Venus has been designed as a multifunctional lounge; this space offers the flexibility and versatility to host events, cooking/baking workshops, product or art showcases & so much more!
On the other hand, the mezzanine space consists of meeting rooms, phone booths, and smaller discussion zones. The further 2 levels are coliving, followed by 2 levels of coworking and the terrace is a cafeteria for all users to hang out during lunchtime or host jamming sessions. The entrance had floor to ceiling glass and this was perfect for them to give a glimpse of the space and make people notice this new addition in the busy neighbourhood.
They created a simple yet attractive light pattern in the reception, this becomes a hook to bring people in and trust me when they come in and see the rest of the space they are awed. Their design strategy included creating a double-height feature wall that would be the focal point in the room. Utilized Space under the staircase by adding built-ins and open shelves which is great for adding interesting displays.
As you move up the staircase to the mezzanine, you can see 2 phone booths for quick conference calls, these booths have louvred shutter details in a soft pink tone. The flooring is the best part of this floor, they wanted some geometric patterns here to complement the terracotta colour in the ceiling. Floors are from Welspun PVT click n lock tiles in Oakwood and Red shades. There are 4 meeting rooms, the biggest conference room has jungle wallpaper on of the walls.
They have 3 types of flooring here, as you enter you have a light colour concrete tile, over to the café area they have a black and white pattern tile and in the lounge area, the designer wanted this space to feel warm and cosy so they opted for a wooden floor. It was important to the design that this place feels modern & rustic at the same time.
