Founded in January 2021, Kavya Sethi & Yashwani Dacha run the collective with a fusion of expertise, skill sets, and design styles from New Delhi.WCI has developed a great portfolio during the span of 30 years covering various luxury homes, pragmatic office spaces, and contemporary retail spaces. Born out of an opportunity and a streak of creative energy, Walnut Studio designs bespoke furniture and spaces for the young (at heart) and the restless. From being a pure design studio to a furniture manufacturer, they work with myriad ideas, designs, and craftsmen to create seamless space solutions. Be it the hospitality industry, real-estate projects, commercial and co-working spaces, they frame, create and innovate every day, by the hour.
Walnut engages itself with diverse materials, techniques, and intelligently added quirks to create the most effective, functional, and clean furniture and products. Not just businesses, they have also created bespoke made-to-measure furniture for palatial bungalows and designed boutique hospitality projects. Not to forget, they have supplied urbane furniture to start-ups and co-working spaces. The Walnut tree is a symbol of intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration. It’s synonymous with intellect and mental aptitude – even the nuts resemble the brain!

Walnut offers you a rare combination of a design studio and an expansive furniture foundry working in tandem under the same roof. That means a large pool of old hands and young blood that offers impeccable design and aesthetics.
We wanted to play in terms of locally available wood in the market. The most popularly known are teak and Sheesham, keeping it as a center of our collection we tried producing both luxury and rustic pieces of furniture. We have tried to keep everything clean and tidy, maintaining a homey feel. Home is about having that nurturing space that you can come back to and recharge in. Homes decorated with wood in traditional ways give them an old-world charm whilst in contemporary homes, wooden furniture adds an elegant look. Wood’s charm and environment-friendly nature create its unique worth! As our tagline says “Furniture, created by nature.”
